Three of the jazz drumming legends are presented here in ultra-rare film footage. Max Roach performs his famous drum solos in a half-hour concert from 1982. Shelly Manne's group, with special guest Mark Murphy, does a half-hour set recorded in 1958. And from the same year, the one and only Mel Lewis performs with the famed paul horn group.
