In 1979, one-time Krupa saxophonist Carmen Leggio issued an LP on his own, private label that contained two cuts by the Krupa Quartet, recorded live in Detroit in 1966. The rest of the tracks are by Leggio's own, superb group, but the Krupa section--Come Back to Sorrento and a wild Sing Sing Sing--take up one entire side of the original LP, almost about 17 minutes' worth of nicely recorded music by the legend himself. This is possibly the hardest-to-find item in Krupa recordings, now on CD for the first time.
